This keeps gear fresher between washes and extends the life of the garment overall, which matters for anyone training several times a week.

    Performance apparel is moving toward recycled synthetic fibers that keep the same stretch and wicking properties while cutting down on production waste. Several manufacturers now mix recycled polyester with spandex to create fabric that performs identically to virgin material but uses far fewer raw resources.
