Muscle building is a long process that requires patience. But sometimes progress feels too slow, and you just want to see some results, fast!

Regular training alone doesn’t guarantee muscle gain; you also need to improve your nutrition and recovery approach. In this blog, you’ll find some of the best ways to increase your muscle size and strength.

    How to Build Muscle Fast

You can also enhance your muscle gains by changing your workout strategy and elevating your nutrition, through the following ways:

    1. Increase Your Training Volume

By increasing your training volume, you can do more reps and sets. This helps with better hypertrophy (muscle volume growth). One way to do it is to lower the weights and increase the sets.

    1. Decrease Intervals Between the Set Rest Intervals

Do you stop between sets to scroll? It’s better to decrease your rest interval to truly fatigue your muscles. Just 30 to 90-second breaks are enough, and in fact necessary for the release of muscle-building hormones like testosterone, as per the experts.

According to multiple studies, irrespective of rep and set scheme, fatiguing your muscles is a prerequisite for hypertrophy.

    1. Eat More Protein

Doing strength training causes tiny tears in your muscles, and your body rebuilds them with protein. If you’re increasing the difficulty of your workouts, you also need to improve your nutrition.

Get around 0.25 to 0.30 grams of protein per kilogram of your body weight. Taking post-workout whey protein shakes. They absorb quickly and promote muscle recovery and growth.

    1. Focus on Calorie Surplus

A more practical way to get your body to bulk up than feeding it more. But it can be hard for those who are trying to shed fat and build muscle. Target is getting roughly 250-500 extra calories per day.

    1. Get More Sleep

To help your muscles grow, you need more than just the right nutrition. When you’re resting, your body releases human growth hormone and keeps your stress hormone levels in check.

Make sure you get plenty of rest and sleep at least 7 to 8 hours at night without interruptions.

    1. Take Gym Supplements

After a certain point, you need to rely on gym supplements to push your body’s limits. Common supplements that can give you massive pump and energy are creatine and L-citrulline. They maximize blood flow, improve nutrient delivery and energy production, and help increase muscle mass rapidly, as compared to when you don’t take them.

    To Sum Up

Building muscle faster comes down to doing the basics right, like training hard, eating enough protein, staying in a calorie surplus, and giving your body proper rest for recovery. Adding supplements can support your progress, but they work best when your routine is already on point.
